Flower Thief Caught On Video: Aurora Police

AURORA, IL — A person was caught on surveillance footage stealing flowers from a local business at about 3 a.m. Aug. 21, according to police.

The business is located in the 2000 block of Route 34 in Aurora.

Police published a 45-second video on Facebook Wednesday evening showing a person in a baseball cap walking up to a display of planted flowers, uprooting them from their beds and setting them in a wheelbarrow before walking away.

In an attempt to locate the person, officials are asking for the community's help locating the person. Anyone with information is asked to contact a detective at 630-256-5500. People can also call the department at 630-892-1000 or leave a tip online at www.aurora-il.org/CrimeTip.
