Flu Closes Holy Angels Catholic School In Aurora For Rest OF Week
More than 1/4 of the school's students were out with the flu Monday.

AURORA, IL — A school in Aurora will stay closed for the remainder of the week due to the ongoing flu outbreak. Holy Angels Catholic School announced Tuesday afternoon that it would close to minimize flu exposure after more than 25% of the school's students missed class Monday.
Administrators are hoping the next few days off will give students and staff time to recover as crews thoroughly disinfect the school to help prevent future cases of flu.
In addition to the school cancellation, upcoming sporting events and other activities at Holy Angels Catholic School have been canceled. These include choir, band, young Rembrandts, and the upcoming eighth grade field trip.
