Free Groceries Will Be Distributed Ahead Of Father's Day, Juneteenth
Boxes of fresh meat and produce will be distributed to up to 1,000 families. Plus, gift cards will be given to 10 random participants.
AURORA, IL — The City of Aurora is teaming up with two nonprofits to distribute free groceries to up to 1,000 families ahead of Father's Day and Juneteenth weekend.
The pop-up pantry will be held at Phillips Park, 1000 Ray Moses Drive beginning at 9 a.m. June 16. Officials said a line can form early on Smith Boulevard.
Plus, 10 random participants will receive $50 gift cards.

Boxes of fresh meat and produce will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. No identification will be required.
The pantry is being held in conjunction with Northern Illinois Food Bank and Aurora Divine 9 Alliance.
