Girl, 15, Still Missing After 3 Days: Aurora Police

The 15-year-old has a history of voluntarily leaving home without notice, Aurora police said.

AURORA, IL — A 15-year-old girl remains missing after she was last seen Aug. 22 in the 300 block of South Broadway, Aurora police said.

Ashley Velasquez-Carrera has a history of voluntarily leaving home without notice, according to police, who said her whereabouts remain unknown as of Tuesday morning.

Velasquez-Carrera is described as 4-foot-6 and about 120 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a scar on her right wrist. She was last seen wearing a white sweater and black jeans.
