The childcare provider is hoping to collect 25,000 books for low-income families from across its locations in Chicagoland.

AURORA, IL — Over the last decade, a partnership between The Goddard School and Bernie's Book Bank has resulted in the collection of more than 265,000 donated books for low-income families throughout Chicagoland. This year, the partners are at it again with a goal of collecting 25,000 books at the various Goddard Schools in the area.
The Goddard School has a participating location in Aurora at 949 Waterford Drive. The North Aurora location at 301 Miller Drive is also taking part in the collection effort.
New and gently used books will be collected through March 1 when they will then be distributed to under-served children through Bernie’s Book Bank, located at 917 North Shore Drive in Lake Bluff.
