A Golden Night under the Golden Arches for Schneider School
Schneider School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to support the school.
North Auror|Schneider School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to support the school.
Teachers and support staff from Schneider volunteered behind the counter on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at the North Aurora McDonald's located on Hansen Blvd., where they served students and their families in a fundraiser.
Teachers McKay, Colucci, Nurse Nikki, Principal Smith, and PTO mom Leah Bohr worked hard selling pies. Principal Smith and Assistant Principal Ream were at the event the entire night talking with families and taking lots of pictures with the kids. Teacher Zaria Jake started out the night in the Apple Pie Box Costume and set the bar for the night and little Ben Bohr ended the night in the box.

The proceeds from the 240 pies sold went directly to benefit the Schneider School children. A percentage of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales were also donated directly to Schneider. The school plans to use the money raised for the brand new school Watchdog Program. A new program where the dads come into the school and provide support and encouragement to the students.
John Lardas, Owner/ Operator of the North Aurora McDonald's is delighted to participate in the worthy cause for education and the community.
