Guy Demanding Money at Aurora Bakery Takes Off When Employee Runs Away

AURORA, IL — This guy apparently thought he could just waltz into a bakery and steal some cash. While he didn’t get away with any, police are looking for his identity.

The man entered a bakery in the 200 block of S. Jackson at around 10 p.m., Oct. 26, implied he had a weapon, and demanded money from two female employees. When one of the women became scared and ran toward the back of the business, the man turned and ran in an unknown direction without any proceeds. No one was injured.

The man was described as being white, 5'11" to 6'2", 180 to 220 lbs., with short brown hair and a goatee. He was wearing a gray jacket, black and blue gloves, dark pants and a white shirt.
