Handgun Recovered From Large Group Fighting In Park: North Aurora Cops
When police arrived at North Aurora Island Park at 7:04 p.m. Saturday, they found a group of about 50 people gathered for the fight.
NORTH AURORA, IL — North Aurora police recovered a handgun from a group fighting at North Aurora Island Park Saturday evening, officials said. Police arrested four people, charging a woman with unlawful use of a gun and three men with mob action.
When officers arrived at the park, near State Street and the Fox River, at 7:04 p.m., they found a group of about 50 people gathered for the ongoing fight. One person, identified as Tyrese Wilson, who witnesses allege started the fight, was partially on the floor and later taken into custody.
Per witnesses' tips, police recovered a handgun from 20-year-old Xykiriah Clark, who was concealing the weapon on her body, officials said.

Two other men were detained Saturday night as well. Police said they witnessed one man, identified as Jerome Wilson, starting fights with others, while another, Jarvis Wilson, ran south from the scene. Police said he was caught and detained after a short foot chase.
Officers stayed at the park until the remaining people left, officials said.

The four people were brought to the North Aurora Police Department for processing. The Kane County State's Attorney's Office approved the following charges against each of them:
- Xykiriah Clark, 20, of the 16800 block of Head Avenue in Hazel Crest, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a firearm without a FOID
- Tyrese Wilson, 22, of the 2800 block of West 81st Street in Chicago, was charged with mob action
- Jarvis Wilson, 27, of the 5100 block of West Washington Boulevard in Chicago, was charged with mob action
- Jerome Wilson, 28, of 5100 block of West Washington Boulevard in Chicago, was charged with mob action
Batavia police and deputies from the Kane County Sheriff's Office assisted North Aurora police at the scene.
