Eggs will be falling from the sky the day before Easter at Faith Lutheran Church in Aurora.
AURORA, IL — Eggs will fall from the sky this Easter in Aurora.
A helicopter will drop 15,000 eggs from the sky as part of an egg hunt at Faith Lutheran Church, 3000 Liberty St. The church is putting a new twist on a traditional family event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 8, the day before Easter Sunday.
The chopper is scheduled to drop the eggs beginning at 11 a.m. After the outdoor hunt, kids can move indoors to take photos with the Easter Bunny, indulge in "crazy amounts" of candy and jump in bounce houses. Participants will also have chances to win "egg-straordinary" prizes, organizers said.
