Four professional standup comics will show that getting older is nothing to fear when they perform a St. Patrick’s Day show at 8 pm on Saturday, March 17 at the Comedy Shrine Theater, 4034 Fox Valley Center Drive, Aurora. Tickets are $20; there’s a two-drink minimum. For reservations, call (630) 585-0300 or go to comedyshrine.com.
The four fearless High Fiber Comedy stars are Bill Gorgo, Michelle Krajecki, John Petlicki and Jan Slavin. They have all shared the trials and triumphs of becoming “ripe” at comedy venues throughout the Chicago area and points beyond, to the delight of audiences of all ages.
“We not only joke hilariously about the challenges of aging but also demonstrate some of the challenges right before your eyes,” said Gorgo, who has performed across North America and taught comedy at Columbia College in Chicago.

Krajecki invites audiences to “laugh along with our unique experiences and perspectives.” She has performed at all the major area comedy clubs, and won the Clean Comedy Challenge at Hoosier Park Casino in 2015 and the High Fiber Division competition at the Skokie Theatre in 2016.
“We delight and inspire audiences of all ages, especially Baby Boomers and Beyond,” Slavin asserted. One of the busiest standup comics in town, Slavin also performs as part of the acclaimed Boomer Babes musical comedy duo with Pam Peterson.

Petlicki, who has only been doing standup comedy for about three years, already has a huge following among 20-somethings and 30-somethings. He explained, “I began doing comedy after I retired because my wife took my remote control away."
