History Channel's 'Pawn Stars' Memorabilia Roadshow Has Aurora Stop
Joel Magee, who appeared on the 16th season of "Pawn Stars," will be in Aurora this week to appraise memorabilia made before the mid-'80s.

AURORA, IL — As a show that has been on the History Channel since 2009, "Pawn Stars" certainly has a fanbase. This week, fans in Aurora and neighboring towns will have a chance to interact with the production.
Celebrity vintage toy collector Joel Magee, dubbed "America's Toy Scout," has embarked on a memorabilia roadshow that includes a stop in Aurora Thursday.
The go-to Disney expert and appraiser for "Pawn Star," Magee will be on the hunt for memorabilia made before the mid-'80s, from Hot Wheels and Barbies to comic books and other items, according to a news release. Magee appeared on season 16 of the award-winning reality TV series.

The public is invited to the event set to take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Holiday Inn Express, 111 N. Broadway in Aurora. Admission and parking are both free. Sellers will have the option to bring items to the hotel's conference room or call 561-628-1990 for curbside service.
Magee will be in the area all week. The collector will be at Springhill Suites Marriott in Warrenville on Monday and Tuesday before going to Holiday Inn Express in Joliet Wednesday.
