How To Get Into Aurora Museums Free During 'After Dark' Event

Visit local museums after dark for a fun way to start Spring Break.

AURORA, IL — If you've ever wanted to see what a museum is like after dark, now's your chance. Several downtown Aurora museums plan to open their doors to guests from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. to give guests a unique oppoRtunity to tour these on three museums well after sun sets.

The "After Dark" events will take place on select Thursdays starting March 29 to give kids something fun to do on spring break. The other two "After Dark nights are scheduled for June 21 and Sept. 20.

Children can get in for free if they're accompanied by an adult with paid admission. Museum members can also get free admission to the "After Dark" days.

  • Santori Public Library
  • G.A.R. Museum
  • SciTech Hands On Museum
