School officials are offering counseling and other types of support in the wake of what they are calling an "incident of bias." Illinois Math and Science Academy offers high-level math and science training for kids in grades 10 through 12. Its <a href="https://www.imsa.edu/site_section/diversity/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">school's diversity stance</a> states, "The affirmation, appreciation, and inclusion of multiple cultures are vital to ensure that all students, faculty, and staff and the IMSA community will be able to thrive in a multicultural academic and residential environment."
