Black Doll With Noose On Neck Found Pinned To IMSA Cork Board

AURORA, IL — A black doll with a noose around its neck was found pinned to a cork board at Illinois Math and Science Academy in Aurora recently, leading school officials to close the area where the doll was found and to alert parents, according to a news release.

School officials are offering counseling and other types of support in the wake of what they are calling an "incident of bias."

Illinois Math and Science Academy offers high-level math and science training for kids in grades 10 through 12.
