July 4th Fireworks 2022 Near Aurora

AURORA, IL — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Aurora so you can start planning now.

What: Fireworks show
Where: Best viewing can be found at RiverEdge Park, 360 N. Broadway (gates open at 7 p.m.), and McCullough Park, 150 W. Illinois Ave.
When: At dusk on July 4

In addition to a grand display of fireworks, two DJs will be spinning beats, one at each location. At RiverEdge Park, DJ Suave Smooth is set to perform, while DJ Pena is slated to put on a show at McCullough Park. Both sets will last from 7-9:45 p.m.
