Kane County Ranked Among Healthiest Counties in the State
Annual health rankings by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation ranked Kane County as the 13th healthiest county in the state.

Kane County has been ranked among healthiest counties in the state, according to The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation health rankings, which were released this past week. Kane County received a ranking of No. 13 on the list.
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation rankings are based on quality of life factors such as longevity and overall health status, including physical and mental health, according to a DuPage County press release. DuPage County was ranked as the healthiest of the 102 counties ranked in the state.
The rankings cover counties in all 50 states and include two separate categories, including Health Outcomes (how healthy we are) and Health Factors (how healthy we can be).

Other suburban counties included on the list were: Kendall County (No. 2), McHenry County (No. 4), Lake County (No. 7), and Will County (No. 14). Cook County was ranked No. 64 on the list.
