Kirkland's, Akira Opening At Aurora Outlet Mall
Fashion boutique, home decor retailer join more than 170 other stores.

AURORA, IL — Akira, an "ultra-trendy fashion boutique," and home decor and gifts retailer Kirkland's will open this summer at Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora. The new stores join more than 170 retailers at the shopping center. “We’re committed to bringing our shoppers the most sought-after outlet retail in the market,” said Phil Whitsel, general manager of Chicago Premium Outlets said in a statement. “Akira and Kirkland’s are great additions to the evolving selection and extraordinary deals our shoppers expect to find every time they visit the center.”
The 3,100-square-foot Akira is slated to open in July with more than 200 on-trend clothing and accessory brands. Akira will be located in the Northeast section of the mall across from Abercrombie and Fitch.
Kirkland's will open later this summer in the northeast end of the mall near Columbia.
