Local Entrepreneur Publishes Prayer Journal
Heather Wachter created The P.U.S.H. Journal to help people to pray until something happens and see God at work in their lives.
Heather Wachter, local entrepreneur and community volunteer, announces the publication of her first book, The P.U.S.H. Journal. A project she conceived after seeing the prompt “PUSH: Pray Until Something Happens” on a Naperville church marquee, The P.U.S.H. Journal is truly a work from the heart.
The beautiful prayer journal guides users in their prayer lives. Scripture, quotes and inspiring prompts encourage them along the way. Regular checkpoints throughout the journal help journalers keep track of who and what they’re praying for and to see God at work in their lives as He responds to their prayers.
“The moment I saw the words on that marquee,” Wachter explains, “I felt God prompting me to create a journal – specifically a prayer journal. In the time since, I’ve been praying about what that could look like and working hard on creating a tool that would encourage and support people in their prayer journeys.”

The P.U.S.H. Journal has earned high praise from thought leaders in Christianity and personal growth. Dave Ferguson, Lead Pastor of Community Christian Church and author of Starting Over and Finding Your Way Back To God, says, “The P.U.S.H. Journal is a great tool for recording your prayers and more importantly God's answers. The inspirational quotes on every page will encourage you along the way. Journaling has been the most important discipline in my spiritual life and The P.U.S.H. Journal can do the same for you! Enjoy the journey!”
Certified Executive Life Coach Diane Overgard says, “As an Executive Life Coach, I get to empower busy professionals with tools that help them with visionary goal setting, creative problem solving and inspirational leadership. Writing in a journal is one of the most effective tools for that. Heather Wachter has taken the idea of a simple notebook to the next level. The P.U.S.H Journal is a collection of beautiful pages with calming artwork and thought-provoking quotes. She has also invented a simple structure for reflection that makes our scribblings meaningful, as we are trained to see God’s answers to our questions. Writing in a journal can be documentation of a life. Writing prayers in a journal allows God to engage with that life.”
