AURORA, IL — East Aurora School District 131 is pleased to announce that the Magnet School Lottery application window will open on Thursday, February 26, 2026, for the 2026–2027 school year.
The Magnet Lottery provides eligible students with the opportunity to participate in specialized academic programming designed to challenge and inspire learners in a rigorous, supportive environment. The deadline to submit the online Lottery application is Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for consideration, students must meet the following requirements:

- Score at or above the 50th percentile as measured by NWEA MAP in both Reading (Language Dominant) and Mathematics
- Meet established student grade requirements
Families are encouraged to review eligibility details carefully before submitting an application.
