Love Is In The Air For Valentine-Themed First Fridays In Aurora
The fun-filled event includes a hugging booth, homemade Valentines, live music, and more.

AURORA, IL -- Love will be in the air for February's First Fridays event in Aurora. Several vendors are lined up to take part in the Feb. 1 festivities, which include a hugging booth, homemade Valentines, and plenty of live music and art.
Visitors can take a free trolley from downtown parking spots between 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. to check out the entertainment and activities each venue has to offer. Here's a little bit of what you can expect if you attend First Fridays on Feb. 1:
Pop-up Photo Booth at All Spoked Up

Stop into All Spoked Up at 14 W. Downer Pl. between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. to get a free photo snapped at the pop-up picture booth. You can also browse prints and posters from "Bunny Prints from Kim" by local artist Kimberly Fredericks.
African Stories, Songs At Aurora Public Library

Guests can celebrate the first day of Black History Month with live poetry, traditional African music, chants, and more at Aurora Public Library. The all-ages event, hosted by renowned storyteller Shanta Nurullah, starts with refreshments at 5:30 p.m., followed by performances at 6:30 p.m.
Valentine Crafting Station At Aurora Regional Fire Museum
Kids and kids-at-heart can unlock their creative potential at Aurora Regional Fire Museum, which will feature a place where you can craft homemade Valentines from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Hugging Booth, Free Couple's Portraits At Foxglove Photography and Design
Couples can swing by Foxglove Photography and Design to get a free portrait or a $1 hug from the hugging booth. Fine art will also be available to purchase.
Samples, Pop Cocoa Puff Keg At Gillerson's Grubbery
Bring your appetite to Gillerson's Grubbery, where three kegs will be on tap, including Pop Cocoa Puffs. Food samples and giveaways will also be available from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
