Man Arrested After Google Alerts Cops To Child Porn: Aurora Cops
The registered sex offender allegedly also chatted with a person he thought was under 18.

AURORA, IL — An Aurora man has been charged with multiple counts of child pornography after Google alerted the police to activity he engaged in, including allegedly chatting with a child under the age of 18. Harry Joslin, 32, of the 200 block of Galena Blvd., had already been registered as a sex offender due to a previous incident. His arrest came after an investigation that lasted more than two months, police said.
According to police, Google reached out on Feb. 14 to inform them of Joslin's alleged online activity. Aurora police got search warrants to comb Joslin's social media accounts, email, cellphone and cloud storage.
Police say Joslin used social media and email accounts that he did not include on his sex offender registration form. They also discovered communication with a person police say Joslin believed to be under 18, according to authorities.
