Man Found Unresponsive In Kendall County Field Identified: Coroner

AURORA, IL — A man was pronounced dead after his body was found unresponsive Tuesday afternoon in a field near the intersection of Caton Farm Road and Immanuel Road in unincorporated Kendall Township.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Kendall County Coroner's Office identified the man as a 20-year-old Aurora resident.

Following an investigation into the death, the coroner determined the cause of death to be an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Patch is not releasing the man's name to protect the family's privacy. No other information is publically available, officials noted in a news release.
