Dog Missing for 3 Years Reunited With Aurora Family

AURORA, IL - One Aurora family is happy to have their dog back.

Seven-year-old Milo went missing three years ago, but turned up last week at an animal shelter in Nebraska, according to WGN TV. Elida Rosas, Milo's owner, said Milo ran off when her daughter's boyfriend let her outside and then fell asleep.

It's unclear how Milo made it to the shelter in Nebraska, according to WGN TV. The Rosas' family made the 14-hour trip last week to Nebraska to pick up the pup who is now back home in Aurora.
