Missing Woman Last Seen At Suburban Mall Last Week: Police
She was last seen several days ago in the area of the Chicago Premium Outlets mall, police said.
AURORA, IL — Aurora police are seeking the public’s help to find a missing woman who was last seen several days ago in the area of the Chicago Premium Outlets mall.
Shafia Murad, 32, was reported missing after she was last seen around 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the area of the mall in the 1600 block of Premium Outlet Boulevard in Aurora, according to police.
She is 5 feet tall, weighs about 105 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes, police said. She was last seen wearing a light green jacket, blue jeans and brown shoes, and her hair was disheveled, according to police.

Murad’s name and photo were initially released by police, then removed at the request of family members, before eventually being rereleased, also at the request of the family, Aurora police said in a social media post about the case.
On Monday, Aurora police said Murad was still missing and that her family had provided a photo of her in the outfit she was wearing when she was last seen.
