Motorcycle Driver In Critical Condition After Late-Night Crash
Police responded to the single-vehicle crash near Route 59 and 79th Street around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
AURORA, IL — A motorcycle driver was transported to a local hospital in critical condition after a single-vehicle crash Tuesday night, Aurora police said.
Police responded to the scene near Route 59 and 79th Street around 11:30 p.m. Northbound Route 59, between Montgomery Road and 79th Street, was closed while Aurora Police Department traffic investigators were on-scene. Police posted on Facebook at 6:33 a.m. Wednesday to say the roadway reopened.
Officials could not provide information when asked by Patch how the crash happened.

As of Wednesday, police told Patch the driver is still listed as being in critical condition.
