Mundy Park To Be Rededicated After Redesign

AURORA, IL — Aurora's Mundy Park has recently gone through a redesign and the city is ready to show off the improvements. Residents are invited to attend a ceremony to rededicate Mundy Park on June 22 at 11 a.m.

Mayor Richard Irvin will be in attendance at the rededication ceremony, along with Wally Mundy, the landscaper who handled the updates to the park, which is named for his mother, Agnes Mundy. The newly revamped park, which is located next to Water Street Mall, features a paved walking path, and multiple levels of outdoor seating to watch shows performed at The Venue.
