NORTH AURORA, IL — If locals spot a low-flying NASA airplane Tuesday afternoon in North Aurora, they shouldn't worry, North Aurora police said.
In an alert published on Facebook, police gave residents a heads-up about the airplane's activities planned just north of Route 31 and Mooseheart Road. Officers said the agency is doing air sampling in the area.
Locals can follow along the route of the McDonnell Douglas DC-8-70 jet as it makes its way to and from Dayton, Ohio.
