AURORA, IL — The installation of new storm sewer will mean road closures on Royal Lane south of Keating Drive and a section of Ellington Drive south of Halsted starting Monday, Aurora police said. The work is expected to be completed in early November. Detour routes will be established on nearby streets.
'This project will reduce flooding on South Eola Road, near Barrington Drive and in nearby areas," Aurora police said.
New sewer will be installed south of Keating Drive between Royal Lane and Ellington Drive. Several detention basins will also be modified in the Misty Creek and Wheatlands subdivisions.
