No Injuries In Semi Vs. SUV Crash On Aurora Avenue: PD
Aurora Avenue from East Indian Trail and Mitchell roads was closed for about an hour Thursday morning while police investigated the crash.
AURORA, IL — No injuries were reported after a semi-truck and SUV crashed near the intersection of Mitchell Road and Aurora Avenue Thursday morning, police told Patch.
Police were on the scene of the crash at 7:35 a.m. and asked drivers to avoid the area while Aurora Avenue between East Indian Trail Road and Mitchell Road was closed for an investigation. The roadway reopened around 8:30 a.m., officials said in an alert on Facebook.
Karl Holappa, the department's spokesperson, said he could not provide any additional information about the incident.
