Person In Custody After 'Active Incident' In Aurora, Police Say
Authorities requested crisis negotiators and a special response team, and took the male into custody, police said.
AURORA, IL — A person was taken into custody following an “active incident” Saturday in Aurora, according to police.
Law enforcement warned residents about 12:30 p.m. to stay away from the 1000 block of Homer Avenue, citing a large police presence. Roughly 20 minutes later, authorities said they had requested crisis negotiators and a special response team and had taken a male into custody.
The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
