Police Pursue Car Theft Suspect In Hometown Subdivision: APD

Aurora's Hometown subdivision was filled with a large police presence around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.

AURORA, IL — Aurora's Hometown subdivision was filled with a large police presence Tuesday evening as police pursued a suspect wanted in connection to a stolen car, officials said.

The suspect fled the scene earlier in the evening. No arrests have been made, Investigator David Guevara told Patch.

Police said in an alert on Facebook at 7:45 p.m. alerting residents of the incident. Officers cleared the area by 8:10 p.m.
