Pop Icon Taylor Dayne To Headline Show At The Piazza

The "Tell It to My Heart Singer" will visit Aurora for the first time when she takes the stage at The Piazza.

AURORA, IL — Taylor Dayne is coming to Aurora for the first time. The pop icon is scheduled to perform at The Piazza Oct. 27.

One of the most beloved pop stars of the '80s and '90s, the New York City-born singer made it big when she released her hit "Tell It to My Heart" in 1987. She went on to release five studio albums and produced hits including "Love Will Lead You Back" and "I'll Be Your Shelter."

Nowadays, Dayne is still holding onto the ears of 1.8 million monthly Spotify listeners.

As part of her recent tour, Dayne will be heading to Illinois after performing a few shows in California. She'll be playing Aurora's The Piazza, 85 Executive Drive, Oct. 27 before heading to Naperville to perform at a private event.

"We're having a blast," the singer told the Chicago Tribune. "All I can say is that all venues are full again. Everybody’s coming with their happy faces and just ready to really have a good time and reconnect with music again. I’ve been lucky enough to be on stage for all these years, and it’s just great to be doing it again."

Her show at The Piazza — for ages 21 and over — is set to start at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m. Tickets, which can be purchased online or at the door for an additional $5, range in price from $25-$70.
