Prostitution Complaints Lead To 4 Arrests: Aurora Police
Four people offered to perform sex acts on undercover officers, police said.

AURORA, IL — The Aurora Police Department's Special Operations Group and the Kendall County Sheriff's Office Cooperative Police Assistance Team conducted an undercover sting Sept. 6 in response to citizen complaints of street-level prostitution, police said. The sting happened during the evening hours, concentrating on East Galena between Broadway and Lincoln.
"Four people were arrested after offering to perform sexual acts on undercover officers and were charged with prostitution," police said. Arrested were Linda Owens, 56; Asia Watkins, 36; and Maurice Scott, 26, all of the 600 block of S. River; and Mary Smith, 38, of the 900 block of North Ave.
