School Bus Crashes On Eola Road, No Students On Board: Aurora PD

AURORA, IL — A school bus with no students on board and three other vehicles were involved in a crash at Eola Road and Liberty Street shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

Officer Jay Leonardi confirmed no students were on the bus and said the bus driver was OK. Four people — including two students in other cars — were hospitalized with minor injuries, he said.

One car crashed into the bus in the intersection, causing it to hit two other cars, police said. The at-fault driver, identified on the scene, was cited with a traffic violation, Leonardi said.
