AURORA, IL — Aurora will soon be home to its second cannabis dispensary. A grand opening ceremony for NuEra, located adjacent to the Chicago Premium Outlet Mall, is scheduled for Friday morning.

Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin, along with city officials, dispensary executives and staff, will be officially unveiling the store to the public at 9 a.m. Located at 1415 Corporate Boulevard, NuLeaf will be the city's 70th and final ribbon-cutting ceremony of 2021.

At the new dispensary, the company added 22 positions, providing job opportunities to the community. A pioneer in the medical cannabis market since 2015, NuEra already has a steady base of customers and patients, according to Chief Communications Officer Clayton Muhammad. With another store opening, they'll have another location to add to their repertoire.
