See 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' For Free On Release Day
Aurora Bank and Trust is sponsoring a free showing of the new Jason Reitman movie Friday, and the deadline to RSVP for tickets is coming up.

AURORA, IL — If you're ready to believe, the ghostbusters are coming back in "Ghostbusters: Afterlife," which officially hits theaters Friday. If you're at least 50 years old and bank with Aurora Bank and Trust, you have a chance to see the movie for free.
Sponsored as part of the bank's Platinum Adventures travel and activities club, the showing will take place at Cinemark Tinseltown USA, 320 S. Lincolnway St. in North Aurora. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m., and the movie will be screened at 10 a.m.
Reservations, which can be made by calling 331-684-9130, are required, and the deadline to make them is Wednesday. The event is open to both members and non-members of the Platinum Adventures club, so attendees can grab a friend and get the popcorn ready.

Directed by Jason Reitman, the son of the original "Ghostbusters," "Ghostbusters: Afterlife" follows a single mother who moves to a new town with her two children. Once there, they soon discover a connection to the original ghost-catching men and the secret legacy left behind by their grandfather.
Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd will make a return to the franchise in the new film, and movie-goers will also see Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon and Ernie Hudson — among others — on the silver screen.

Admission and parking are free, and area residents need to bring with them proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours of the event.
