Semi-Truck Rolls Over, Knocks Down Lake St. Electrical Wires: APD
Aurora police said North Lake Street between Illinois and Park avenues will be shut down for at least three more hours.
AURORA, IL — A semi-truck rolled over and knocked down electrical wires Monday afternoon, causing a portion of North Lake Street to close to traffic, according to Aurora police.
Aurora police and firefighters are on the scene of the crash, which happened in the 500 block of North Lake Street around 11:45 a.m.
As of 1:15 p.m., Lake Street between Illinois and Park avenues continues to be shut down. Police said ComEd, on-site to fix the electric lines, estimates the road will be closed for another three hours.
