Car Trapped Under Semi After North Eola Road Crash: Aurora Police

Police reported the crash with injuries just after 7 a.m.

AURORA, IL — A sedan was trapped under a semi truck after the two crashed on North Eola Road early Friday, police said.

The driver of the car sustained injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The person is in stable condition as of Friday afternoon, Investigator David Guevara told Patch.

Aurora officers, who reported the incident around 7 a.m., arrived at the scene after receiving multiple 911 calls about the crash. North Eola Road was shut down between Ferry Road and Butterfield Road while authorities investigated.

Before roads reopened at about 9 a.m., drivers were asked to use alternate routes and avoid the area.
