Shots Fired, House Hit In Unincorporated Aurora Township: Sheriff
Officials are asking anyone with information about the shooting, which occurred Sunday in the 1300 block of Gates Street, to reach out.
AURORA, IL — Shots were fired in unincorporated Aurora township late Sunday night, striking at least one residence in the area, according to Kane County Sheriff's Office officials.
Around 11 p.m. on Juneteenth, KCSO deputies and Montgomery police officers responded to the 1300 block of Gates Street for reports of shots fired. Besides discovering at least one house was hit by gunfire, officials said they also located a man outside the house who "appeared to be involved in a physical fight, but was not shot."
Officials said the man was uncooperative, and no other victims were found in the area.
