Stage Change on Aurora's Ogden Avenue Begins Feb. 8
The work is part of an ongoing project to construct a bridge on Ogden Avenue over the railroad tracks.

AURORA, IL — A traffic stage change will take place on Ogden Avenue (U.S. 34) at the Canadian National Railroad tracks, in Aurora, beginning, weather permitting, the week of Monday, Feb. 8, according to a release from the Illinois Department of Transportation.
The work is part of an ongoing project to construct a bridge on Ogden Avenue over the railroad tracks.
Traffic will shift onto the new pavement and bridge to allow work on the other half of the pavement and bridge structure. Traffic will remain at one lane in each direction until the project is completed in Fall 2016, weather permitting.

The new bridge will reduce traffic delays and safety concerns due to trains crossing Ogden Avenue at-grade. It also will support more efficient response by emergency service providers.
Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
