One person was taken into custody after a brief pursuit in the 1400 block of Summerfield Lane Tuesday afternoon.
AURORA, IL — A standoff with Aurora police, ensuing after a person was found barricaded in a home Tuesday afternoon, ended peacefully, according to reports from the Daily Herald.
The incident happened in the 1400 block of Summerfield Lane Tuesday afternoon, Aurora police wrote at 1:04 p.m. in a post on Facebook asking the community to avoid the area.
The person came out of the house after a short time and was taken into custody. No charges have been filed, the Daily Herald reported.
