STEEL BEAM THEATRE YOUTH STAGE PRESENTS: HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL
High School Musical at Steel Beam Theatre has officially hit the stage this weekend!
The latest production of High School Musical in the heart of Downtown St. Charles premiered Saturday with nearly sold out shows for both the 2pm and 6pm performances.
Although surprising if you've never heard, High School Musical is the story of two teens: a math geek and a basketball star, who fall in love over their mutual love of singing. Going against the grain proves quite chaotic as it creates a revolution throughout the entire school.

The show is directed by Noah Bailey with musical direction from Joelle Kasprisin. The cast stars many dynamic performers such as Andrew Harper as Troy Bolton, Arianna Barrios as Gabriella Montez, Ivanna "EV" Kurywczak and William Akst as Sharpay and Ryan Evans, featuring Kody Walker as Chad Danforth, Tabitha Franzetti as Taylor McKessie, Clara Patterson as Kelsi Nielsen, Hayley Sennett as Ms. Darbus, and Austin Walker as Zeke Baylor with Lucy Lollini and Russell Guttman as Martha Cox and Coach Bolton.
"This show is special for me because it so explicitly supports being different and defying the status quo. Something we should all be proud of is supporting our own, and each other's originality." Bailey said.
