Student Meals Aurora Expand To Bus Routes

Starting, Wednesday, March 25, District 131 will expand its student meal distribution, using the district’s First Student bus routes. Grab-and-go meals will be distributed on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Students can expect the bus to arrive at their regular First Student bus stop approximately two (2) hours after their normal pick up time. For example, if normal pick up time is 7:00 a.m., you can expect the bus at approximately 9:00 a.m.

This additional meal distribution will not impact our current school site pickups listed below. These sites are open to all students in the district. At our four (4) school sites, meals will be available Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 12 Noon, for students 18 years and under. The four school sites are as follows:

• Allen Elementary, 700 S. Farnsworth Ave., Aurora; DOOR 8
• Dieterich Elementary, 1141 Jackson St., Aurora, DOOR 6
• Oak Park Elementary, 1200 Front St., Aurora, DOOR 2
• East Aurora High School, 500 Tomcat Lane, Aurora, DOOR 8

Parents and guardians may also pick up student meals on behalf of a student, and siblings may also pick up meals for their siblings

A partir de mañana, miércoles 25 de marzo, ampliaremos nuestra distribución de comidas estudiantiles, utilizando nuestras rutas de autobús First Student. Las comidas para llevar se distribuirán los lunes, miércoles y viernes por la mañana. Los estudiantes pueden esperar que el autobús llegue a su parada regular de First Student aproximadamente dos (2) horas después de su hora normal de recogida. Por ejemplo, si su horario normal de recoger es a las 7:00 a.m., puede esperar el autobús aproximadamente a las 9:00 a.m.

Esta distribución de comida adicional no afectará nuestras recogidas actuales de sitios escolares que continuaran. Estos sitios están abiertos a todos los estudiantes en el distrito.
