Sycamore Student Performs as Ryan Evans in High School Musical

Sycamore student William Akst Performs as Ryan Evans in High School Musical which premiered yesterday at Steel Beam Theatre in the heart of Downtown St. Charles.

Akst has recently been seen in a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat through the Penguin Project at the Egyptian Theatre. He continues his theater career starring as the goof-ball brother and half of the infamous Evans duo in High School Musical; which is a stage adaptation of the Disney Channel Original Movie.

When asked what Akst liked most about this production, he stated: "I've had so much fun and have gotten the opportunity to work with great people throughout the course of this show. That's priceless!".

You can see Akst and many more dynamic performers hit the stage this weekend and next. Performances are Saturday November 11 and 18 at 2pm & 6pm, and Sunday's November 12 and 19 at 2pm.
