Taco Crawl To Raise Funds For Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry
Only 200 tickets are available for the pantry's first fundraiser of 2023, and they're "in danger of selling out," organizers said.
AURORA, IL — Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry's first fundraiser of 2023 is happening May 16 in the form of a taco crawl.
So far organizers listed seven local businesses that are participating, but more will be announced as the event nears.

- Alice's Corner, 37 W. New York St.
- Altiro Latin Fusion, 1 S. Stolp Ave.
- Flo's 2AM Tacos at Wyckwood House, 80 S. River St.
- McCarty Mills Taproom, 140 S. River St.
- La Garrafa Ice Cream, 733 Aurora Ave.
- La Quinta de los Reyes, 36 E. New York St.
- Society 57, 100 S. River St.
"If you've attended our fundraisers before, you know they feel like a family reunion!" organizers said. "Volunteers who've worked together before get to see each other again and catch up. Old friends reconnect, and new friendships are made."
The taco crawl will take place from 4-8 p.m. Participants can check in for the evening at Society 57, where they'll pick up a goodie bag and the lanyard needed as a "ticket" at each venue. The social space is also hosting an after party from 8-9 p.m.

Only 200 tickets — each comes with a raffle ticket — are available, and they're "in danger of selling out," organizers said. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite for $30. As of Thursday, only 27 tickets remain, according to the platform.
A t-shirt and additional raffle tickets can be added to each purchase.
Other fundraising events planned this year include a golf outing June 10, a Christmas in July party July 29 and Harvest Dinner Aug. 12.
