Gunfire Breaks Out During Party, 3 Wounded: Aurora Police

Three people were shot late Saturday on the city's West Side.

AURORA, IL — A 15-year-old boy, 19-year-old woman and 40-year-old man were wounded in a shooting late Saturday on the city's West Side. Aurora police said several people were in a backyard during a party in the 1800 block of Plum Street at around 11:05 p.m. when an unknown number of shooters walked up and opened fire. The three victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at an Aurora hospital, police said.

The shooting does not appear to be random, according to police, who said there is no description of the suspect or suspects.
