Where To See Santa In Aurora This Christmas Season

AURORA, IL — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Aurora families. For them, there's nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In and around Aurora, kids have several chances:

• At Fox Valley Mall through Dec. 24
• At the Aurora Regional Fire Museum from 1-3 p.m. Dec. 2 and Dec. 9
• At Santa at the Gazebo Dec. 2 and Dec. 9 at Millenium Plaza in Aurora
• At Making Spirits Bright in North Aurora Dec. 2
• At Fox Valley Park District's Splashing with Santa Dec. 16
• At Blackberry Farm's Holiday Express through Dec. 17
• At Santa's Workshop in Naperville through Dec. 21

Santa arrived Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Reservations are encouraged.

Santa will also be at Macy’s stores in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Orlando. In Chicago, Santa will be at Macy's on State Street through Dec. 24. Reservations are required.

JCPenney stores, including stores in North Aurora, Montgomery and Joliet, are offering professional portraits with Santa through Dec. 18.
