Woman, 65, Reported Missing, Endangered: Aurora Police

The woman was last in contact with her family on March 6, police said.

AURORA, IL — A woman, 65, was reported missing and endangered, Aurora police said Thursday afternoon.

Officials turned to the community for help locating Valentina Goncharenko, who was last in contact with her family March 6.

“There are concerns for her well-being and her ability to care for herself,” police said.

Goncharenko was described as 5-foot-2 and 150 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. Police said she is “unhoused” and is known to frequent the downtown Aurora area.
