AURORA, IL — Boss Babes, a monthly Wyckwood House event to support and empower women, is returning to the Aurora business Thursday for a special St. Patrick's Day happy hour.

Owner Shannon Gutierrez and store manager Marissa Amoni will host the event from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Wyckwood House, 14 W. Downer Place. The event, which takes place on the third Thursday of each month, is free and open to women from the area.

The business is currently in the process of expanding by moving to a new location — 80 S. River St. in downtown Aurora — just across the river and adjacent to the Aurora Public Library. Beyond the same clothing and home decor offerings, the new storefront will feature a cocktail bar and locally sourced charcuterie boards and small plates.
