ā¢ Carpentersville could save $2M by switching to new 911 dispatching service (chicagotribune.com) ā Barrington Hillsā 911 calls are currently handled by QuadCom, which is losing its largest member, Carpentersville, in 2027 as that village pursues a cheaper, more robust dispatch contract with SEECOM. While Barrington Hills isnāt changing providers yet, Carpentersvilleās exit and talk of broader consolidation could eventually reshape how emergency calls for Barrington Hills and neighboring towns are dispatched.
