Amdur Productions Announces the 4th Annual Deer Park Art Show

The 4th Annual Deer Park Art Show, produced by Highland Park-based company Amdur Productions, returns to the Deer Park Town Center, 20530 N. Rand Road, in Deer Park, Illinois, on Saturday, September 7, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.,and Sunday, September 8, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and will run rain or shine in this elegant outdoor center.The event is free and open to the public, and parking is free as well. Deer Park is three miles from the Barrington Metra station.

More than 50 juried artists will showcase and sell a variety of original work including ceramics, glass, furniture, photography, jewelry, mixed media, drawing, fiber and more. Local artists Vladimir Pailodze from Lake Zurich will offer his whimsical and romantic original oil and acrylic paintings on canvas. Deana Rabe from Palatine presents stunning black and white celebrity portraits with high-contrast, monochromatic “posterized” stories.

“We are delighted to return to Deer Park’s wonderful lifestyle center and bring artists from across the country to offer their work amongst some of the country’s best stores and restaurants,” notes Amy Amdur, president of Amdur Productions.

The Deer Park Art Show is a treat for the entire family with live music from the duo Cirrus Falcon, artist demonstrations and booth chats with the artists and more. Kids can enjoy face painting and create marketing counter cards for local businesses.
